Popped in here for breakfast after spending the night in Cleveland after a wedding. The loveliest staff greeted us. I had Eggs Benedict with Bacon, and it was scrumptious. Hubby had the Simple brekky of bacon, eggs, tomato, and toast, which he said was yummy. Our coffees were also great at the perfect temperature. Would definitely visit again as prices were very reasonable as well.

Updated review 2023:I don't know what has happened, but the coffee is bad, I couldn't drink mine. The breakfast of Granola and Fresh Fruit Crunchy $14 had stale Granola, green and hard bananas, over ripe rockmelons, and the strawberries are tasteless and still raw. All our food and coffee was left, as I can't even give it a 1 star. I gave Tanja's an overall of 3 stars because of the location, plus the atmosphere. Service, food, and coffee have gone below average, but their price is still above average Old review from 2022: Nice Cafe to relax and enjoy a good and well deserved coffee. I have tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. Never have I been disappointed, service-friendly and fast, meals- tasty and comes to the table still hot, salad-fresh and clean, cakes-good and lots of choices, price-fair, environmental-clean and you have the ocean smell in the air. A bonus to visiting Tanja, the street feels, makes you feel like you are on an overseas holiday. Both day and night have a different feel to it, well worth coming at different times of the day. A romantic place for a date night, family friendly for breakfast or lunch. For the feel, I would highly recommend coming at night.

This is a beautifully situated suburban cafe right in the heart of Wellington point. It has a good selection of menu items with very helpful and attentive wait staff and a fantastic array of baked goods and good coffee! I think if you were to go anywhere in Wellington point this would be the place. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and very quick service. But by far the highlight meal was the Mediterranean pizza. It was absolutely delicious and would go back simply just to have that pizza again.

A family catchup morning tea. Staff were great, reminding us of cut off time for brekky orders as we were waiting on a family member. Eventually ordered without them and a mist delicious breakfast was served up at reasonable prices. It was such a lovely spot to sit outside, part sun part shade. A cake cabinet displayed some beautiful treats, while next door a fairly new section is a dedicated patisserie. Plenty of parking out front and also at back of shop. Staff were very pleasant and accomadating and service was not too slow in getting our meals and drinks. Would certainly return here.

If you are a Gluten free person or a salad person don't bother. For the others go ahead, you'll like it. The dishes presented well but the salads had nothing in them apart from lots of green, raw onions and red capsicums (all of the salads have those 3 ingredients and then the meat and sauce just changes). Really not worth it. My partner had a chicken parmigiani that was great and a strawberry tart, also good. The gluten free chocolate cake was stale and dry, definitely too old to be sold. As for the staff, the Indian looking guy was very welcoming and nice, the older women behind the counter...not so much.

Unfortunately the beer battered snapper was over cooked and rubbery. Chips and Salad accompaniment were nice. Overpriced for poor fish. Margarita pizza hot and plenty of mozzarella cheese however a little tasteless. German beer on tap was good. Bar did not have staff member so all had to be ordered at one food till. Service average, staff could have been friendlier with a smile.
